Development of Indicators for Sustainability Reporting Specific to the Automotive Industry

The members of the UNEP Mobility Forum and Global Rreporting Initiative (GRI) have agreed to produce, through a multi-stakeholder process, indicators for sustainability reporting specific to the automotive sector. These indicators will build on both the core set of indicators, applicable to all companies in all sectors, outlined in the 2002 GRI Sustainability Reporting Guidelines on Economic, Environmental and Social Performance, and indicators already used by the automotive industry.
