(Energy Unit Intranet site)
In an effort to develop and maintain a high level
of effective communication and coordination among members, the Energy
Unit has developed this Intranet Site.
The "Energy Intranet" web based tool is a private area
network that allows authenticated users web access to share information
and documents. Because it is on the web, members can access this
data at anytime, from any computer with a Web browser and Internet
connection. Energy Intranet covers topics related to energy, climate
change mitigation, transportation, and related information.
Who can have access?
Current members (authenticated users):
- the energy group in Paris
- all regional industry officers
- staff at the UNEP Risoe Centre on Energy and Environment (URC)
- staff at the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy (BASE ).
Energy Unit Intranet site Content:
- contacts: contact information for all current members
- links: web links to sources of energy and climate change information,
with brief description of each site.
- news articles: mostly passed along from the UNEP NY office on
a range of energy and climate change issues.
- photo gallery : photos on a variety of energy related topics
for use in presentations.
- presentations: mostly PowerPoint presentations prepared by UNEP
staff covering a variety of topics.
- publications :downloadable publications from UNEP,URC , and
others
- Core documents: Collection of downloadable in-house (UNEP DTIE)
related templates for :reports, letters, memos, fax, and other
useful documents.
How to can gain access?
Access is only for the above mentioned members.
You can gain access by opening the location http://62.160.8.30/In-ergy1.
A screen will prompt you for your username, password, and domain
name.
