Partnerships to Mainstream Ozone in Education

The UNEP OzonAction Programme, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) are cooperating on the development, promotion and dissemination of the OzonAction Education Pack, which is part of UNEP DTIE's Work Programme under the Multilateral Fund of the Montreal Protocol.

The Pack provides primary school teachers in developing countries with information and materials needed to incorporate ozone protection into school curricula, and thus contribute to the long-term sustainability of ozone layer protection at the national level.

In addition to the partners, other the Eco-Schools programme and Environment Online (ENO) are also cooperating in the dissemination of the Education Pack through their sustainable development education networks.
